new kicks!

I spotted these Vans slip-ons in Copenhagen a year ago:


and last week I finally tracked them down!

They're already looking a little grody from a trip to the dog park... but they still look lovely next to Bree's Tulip table. I may have to buy another pair to keep as back-up.

I'm also considering these:

but I'm thinking that chair imagery might not be the best criteria for new footwear investments.

But, in a somewhat-related chair tangent, I love this chair that my Grandfather caned:

I'd love to turn that into a pattern. The caning isn't perfect, which is why it's perfect.
