open and out
The opening in DC went really well last weekend - my entourage even showed up (hi Steph! Kate! Amy! Anna!), I met lots of great DCers, spent great time with my mom, sold some cups, drank some wine, and not a single ceramic casualty (or any of Walter McConnell's pieces, thankfully).
Met a great new friend, Vincent, who is about to launch a stellar new blog this summer, and he posted a little album of the opening to his flickr site - and there are a few more photos here. He's a designer with free range studios, and it was friendship at first sight when he recognized my moo cards (though his cards win with their sweet rounded edges).
Many thanks to Rebecca Cross, lovely gallery owner extroadanairre, the gallery guests and collectors, Vincent, and of course my dear mother.
Now I'm back in my studio for three weeks while I prepare for ICFF...
